Color Symphony
Color Symphony is a pavilion installed in a landmark shopping mall in Hong Kong. The pavilion celebrates the first summer after the pandemic with a colorful and festive atmosphere. Layers of colored acrylic panels are held at different heights by a white frame structure. Sunlight passes through the panels and casts shades of many colors on the ground. The open layout invites the public to gather, rest and play. The floor area is 180 square meters and the height is 8 meters. The design reflects the energy of the city and expresses hope and positivity.
Color Symphony Pavilion by afloat studio was featured as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Color Symphony Pavilion won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
