Infinity
Infinity is a mobile housing unit designed for living in natural settings. Each unit measures 6.7 by 6.7 by 4.3 meters. The retractable metal skeleton is compact during transport and can be adjusted to suit different terrains, so the unit is not fixed to one location. Aircraft grade aluminium panels allow use in temperatures from minus 5 to 40 degrees Celsius. Lightweight secondary structures allow assembly without heavy machinery. Floor to ceiling windows and decking components link the interior with the surrounding landscape.
Infinity Mobile Architecture by Tang, Jie has been selected as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Infinity Mobile Architecture earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2024. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award which honors excellent design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
