KEFENG SUN Shower And Coffee Architecture

Renovation of Belight Camp House

Renovation of Belight Camp House is a campsite service center in Jingshan town, Hangzhou, China. Two small former forest protection houses were rebuilt to hold changing rooms, showers and a shared commercial space with a partial glass ceiling. The suspended second floor is wrapped in brushed wavy stainless steel plates, which reflect the colors and shapes of the surroundings. The first floor uses a cage wall filled with pine wood from the nearby forest. The intact roof and main structure were preserved, and all trees on the site were kept.

Renovation of Belight Camp House Shower And Coffee by KEFENG SUN has been featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Renovation of Belight Camp House Shower And Coffee won the Iron A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2024. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
