Huajiang Science Lab
The specialized classroom serves as an experimental environment where children engage in fundamental scientific practices such as observation, inquiry, hypothesis generation, experimentation, and inference drawing within the natural realm. As education evolves, classrooms must adapt to contemporary needs. In addition to updating essential equipment, provisions for convenient access to and from the classroom are imperative. Spatial reconfigurations aim to facilitate increased interaction between teachers and students, fostering a relaxed and conducive learning atmosphere.
Huajiang Science Lab Classroom Renovation by Daisuke Nagatomo and Minnie Jan was highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Huajiang Science Lab Classroom Renovation received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
