Ruilan
Ruilan is a residential interior design for a family home in Taiwan. The home is planned around an open kitchen, which replaced the original closed layout. A central island with a bar top separates the kitchen from the living room and serves as a dining and social area. Dark ceilings, wood veneers and dark laminate walls give the foyer, kitchen and dining room a professional character. A hidden storage area is placed behind the island. Light-colored walls and wood floors are used in the living room and the bedrooms.
Ruilan Residence by Chun-Kai Yang has been selected as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ruilan Residence won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
