Gota
Gota is a packaging design for skincare products. The design takes inspiration from the Maori tales of New Zealand. Three natural species of the country form the core visual elements: the mamaku fern in green, red alga in red, and the conus in blue. Figures of plant and animal fossils are shown on the outer box. The surface texture imitates natural stone, and embossed and debossed areas add depth. The cap is made of PP and ABS and carries the pattern of the key ingredients. The serum bottles use a rotating telescopic dropper.
Gota Skincare Packaging by N Z Skin Care Co., Ltd was identified as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Gota Skincare Packaging was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that honors exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
