Segway ST
Segway ST is an electric kickscooter designed for short and medium distance commuting and for recreational riding. The kickscooter is a legal means of transport in Europe and America, and the intent is to reduce traffic congestion and to offer a convenient and environmentally friendly way to travel. A top speed of 80 km/h and a range of up to 70 km are supported. Stability at speed is supported by front and rear shock absorbers and a high strength integrated bent pipe frame. Hydraulic disc brakes, an anti-lock braking system and traction control are fitted.
Segway ST Electric Kickscooter by Yongjie Li was identified as an innovative example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Segway ST Electric Kickscooter won the Silver A' Design Award in Scooter Design in 2024. The A' Scooter Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which honors superior design of electric scooters, kick scooters, mobility scooters, folding scooters, Off-Road scooters, Three-Wheeled scooters, Gas-Powered scooters, Self-Balancing scooters and more.
