Xiangkai Weifang Shangcheng Longyue

Xiangkai Weifang Shangcheng Longyue is a clubhouse interior in Weifang, Shandong Province, China. The 500 square meter space follows the idea of a city within a forest. Wood sets the tone of the interior, with small amounts of metal and marble. Moss, plants, tree trunks and branches form an indoor ecological setting. Skylights and partition walls with concave and convex shapes bring in light and open views, creating an outdoor feeling. Curves and garden design methods guide the layout. The result links city life with nature.

Xiangkai Weifang Shangcheng Longyue Clubhouse by Zhijun Zhong has been identified as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Xiangkai Weifang Shangcheng Longyue Clubhouse was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
