The Force
The Force is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan in 2024. The kitchen and dining areas are connected by a bar counter and utensil cabinets, which improve convenience during meal preparation and dining. A sloped grid links the public areas and answers the storage needs of the residents, keeping the space neat and comfortable without feeling oppressive. Triangular frames soften right angles and give the long space visual continuity. Fluorescent accents outline the dark surfaces. Healthy and non-toxic green building materials were used.
The Force Interior Design by YEH CHUN-PENG has been selected as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Force Interior Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
