The Tea Has Turned Red
The Tea Has Turned Red is a packaging gift box created for red tea. The box follows a modern minimalist style, and the combination of black and red gives the design a simple and striking appearance. The printed images are inspired by the process of leaves turning from green to red, so the stages of red tea are shown in a clear and easy to understand way. A corrugated paper box with an aircraft box structure forms the main part. The structure is resistant to pressure, firm and durable, easy to assemble and open, and convenient to store.
The Tea Has Turned Red packaging gift box by Yan Wu was recognized as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Tea Has Turned Red packaging gift box won the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
