Stacks
Stacks is a residential interior design for an open-plan studio of 82.645 square meters. The layout follows a natural and minimalist wabi-sabi approach, with careful attention to light and shadow. Layered lines and surfaces express the theme of stacks. The television wall has curved corners and built-in cabinetry made from eco-friendly wood panels certified for health and environmental safety, which reduce toxins such as formaldehyde. The wooden floor of the television area meets the raised platform of the kitchen island bar. A grille partition screen forms the bathroom door.
Stacks Residential House by YU-HONG WU was selected as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Stacks Residential House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
