Gathering
Gathering is a residential interior design for a home of 151 square meters in Taiwan. The layout offers three plus one bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and two bathrooms. High ceilings shape the public area, where a geometric ceiling form holds the piping and adds vertical scale. A stacked glass block wall in the foyer transmits light while keeping the entrance private. A custom table three meters long serves family and friends. Glass panels on the partitions protect children. Materials include slab tiles, glass tiles, iron parts and special paint.
Gathering Residence by C9 design has been identified as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Gathering Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
