La Galerie
La Galerie is a residential interior design for an apartment of 132 square meters in Taiwan. The 33-year-old home was fully renovated, with all partitions removed and each area redefined. White tones form a gallery-like background for paintings that represent spring, summer, autumn and winter. Curved walls guide movement and support the flow of natural light and air. Wood, recycled metal, stone and fabric are used, and the original aluminum windows were removed and recycled. Private rooms use darker tones such as dark green.
La Galerie Residence by C. J. House Design was featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. La Galerie Residence was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program which honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
