Scarlet
Contrasted with the discomfort and limitations women experience during their periods, the concept behind Scarlet sanitary pads' packaging was inspired by the ideas of freedom and relief, qualities the product is designed to deliver. Nature provides a sense of peace and freedom that modern urban life often lacks. To capture this emotional relief, the packaging design draws inspiration from natural landscapes and uses soft watercolor techniques to express these sensations. The result is a calming, poetic visual language that aligns with the product’s promise of comfort and care.
Scarlet Sanitary Pads by Masoud Najafi Amirkiasar has been selected as an outstanding representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Scarlet Sanitary Pads was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
