Peri Chair

Peri

Peri is a chair inspired by the Tupi Guarani culture and its close relationship with nature. The name comes from a Tupi Guarani word meaning field of reeds. The base is made of solid wood, while the seat and backrest are made of sisal, a natural and biodegradable fiber. Computer controlled machines shape the organic form of the wood, and the finishing is completed by hand. The chair measures 610 mm by 545 mm by 845 mm. The ergonomic shape supports comfortable use. Peri joins traditional craft techniques with sustainable production methods.

Peri Chair by Luan Del Savio was identified as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Peri Chair received the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
