VMware
VMware vSphere Advantage Configuration Management is a user interface for managing configurations in on-premises data centers. Information technology administrators can create configuration templates, combine the templates into desired state profiles, and assign each profile to a server. The system compares current settings with the assigned profile at scheduled intervals and reports any drift on a central dashboard. Role-based access control and audit logs support compliance. The centralized approach reduces manual work and configuration errors.
VMware Configuration Management by Bing Wu has been recognized as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. VMware Configuration Management was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design in 2025. The A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that honors superior design of websites, mobile applications, software interfaces, game interfaces, wearable interfaces, virtual reality interfaces, augmented reality interfaces, dashboard designs and more.
