Hero
Hero is a mobile application designed as a daily assistant for iPhone users. Hero combines calendars, reminders, notes, news, groceries, weather and an AI assistant in one unified view. Coordination is simplified because availability, reminders and notes can be shared with family and friends, and comments can be added directly to each item. A voice interface updates the screen while the user speaks, which supports faster multi-step actions such as scheduling. The layout is modular and tab free, with compact overlays that keep the application simple as features grow.
Hero AI Daily Assistant by Akhil Patel was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Hero AI Daily Assistant was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2025. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes exceptional design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
