Thermo Dome
Thermo Dome is a cast iron pot designed for baking, roasting and slow cooking. A thermometer is built into the lid handle, so the temperature can be read from above or through an oven door glass panel without opening the oven. The domed panoramic scale keeps the reading clear, and the pot keeps its full volume and shape. A hot safe indicator shows when the lid is too hot to touch. The pot is made from recycled iron by sand casting and CNC machining, then finished with baked enamel. A lid hanger and an integrated spoon rest are also included.
Thermo Dome Cast Iron Pot by Shakes has been identified as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Thermo Dome Cast Iron Pot won the Golden A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2025.
