Igo
Igo is a mobile application for a smart shared shuttle service. The service aims to provide affordable and safe travel for low income communities in Los Angeles. Intelligent algorithms match passengers travelling to nearby destinations, which improves vehicle occupancy and addresses first and last mile travel. The application also lists job opportunities along each route. Safety features include voice activated emergency alerts, one click emergency calling and trip sharing for night travel. The interface is simple, so core functions are easy to find.
Igo App Design by Zilian(Joy) Li was identified as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Igo App Design won the Iron A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2025. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which rewards outstanding design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
