Girls Find Girls
Girls Find Girls is a mobile app for females to research industry and understand female presence. Lacking of female representation is one of the reasons females not choose certain industries, even if they are passionate about it. Traditional career reports can be biased by gender. It requires deep knowledge and a great amount of time to dig out female-centered career insights. This app seeks to leverage on live data, advanced insights and woman organizations to help young girls and adult females to see the industry through their own perspective.
Girls Find Girls App by Yingxiao Ouyang was identified as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Girls Find Girls App won the Silver A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2025. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which celebrates exceptional design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
