Japanese Ambience
Japanese Ambience is a residential interior design covering 82 square meters. The home includes an entrance, a living room, a tatami room, a dining room, a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Wooden grilles, natural wood veneer and gray paints create a calm and rustic atmosphere. The open floor plan allows natural light to flow through the space. Translucent shoji doors divide the tatami room while keeping an open feel. A deep black kitchen island balances the light wood and white tones, and LED strips add a gentle glow.
Japanese Ambience Residential House by Eason Hsu has been featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Japanese Ambience Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
