Chicago Line
Chicago Line is an armchair with a matching ottoman, designed for long periods of seated rest. The armchair is made of solid wood machined with five axis technology, and the arms are shaped on a computer numerical control lathe. The seat combines two gentle curves that follow human anatomy with high performance foam. All wooden parts are machined so that the armchair appears as a single piece. The form is inspired by the modern and industrial architecture of the city of Chicago. The ottoman extends the comfort and completes the set.
Chicago Line Armchair by Alexandre Kasper was identified as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Chicago Line Armchair earned the Golden A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award which celebrates outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
