Ridge House
Ridge House is a private villa interior shaped by the dramatic mountain ridges of Alula. The design interprets geological mass and erosion through sculpted volumes, textured surfaces, and controlled shadow. Double height spaces enhance vertical depth, while full height glazing frames distant landscapes and extends the interior toward the horizon. Custom Grc cladding and selective limestone veneer create a monolithic yet refined atmosphere, where raw material expression and spatial precision define a grounded and immersive residential experience.
Ridge House Private Villa by Mai Wahdan was selected as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Ridge House Private Villa was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
