SkinAI
SkinAI is a browser based skin analysis tool for desktop and mobile devices. Users answer a short set of skin related questions and take a guided face photo. Machine learning then evaluates six key skin concerns and returns a health score for each concern. A personalized report is created, along with product recommendations that can be explored or purchased directly. The interface is responsive and follows a mobile first approach, guiding each user step by step with few steps and instant results.
SkinAI Skin Analyzer by Melisa Aksun was selected as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. SkinAI Skin Analyzer won the Bronze A' Design Award in Digital Product Design in 2025. The A' Digital Product Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards exceptional design of digital products, apps, E-Books, virtual reality experiences, interactive websites, digital games, E-Learning platforms, wearable technologies, digital art installations and more.
