Port House
Port House is a two-storey residential interior located in Alachati, Izmir. The home offers 250 square metres of living space with four en-suite bedrooms, an open plan living area, a dining room and a kitchen. Oak is used for the floors, ceiling beams, cabinetry and doors, and is combined with marble in some areas. A double height ceiling and large sliding doors bring daylight, garden and sea views into the interior. The layout connects indoor and outdoor spaces and suits a family of five in all four seasons.
Port House Residential Design by Saffet Dikmen was featured as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Port House Residential Design earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
