The design duo see their work as functional art. Prism's mirroring metallic top is designed to be a source of creativity for the beholder. It can reflect a beautiful ceiling, the trees outside the window, the skyscrapers in the city, or the owner's favorite object placed on it.
Prism Sideboard by Maan Sydney Design Studio was featured as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Prism Sideboard was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which celebrates superior design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
