Nomadic Inflatable
Nomadic Inflatable is a camping tent inspired by the traditional Kyrgyz yurt. The dome of a nomadic yurt symbolizes the starry universe, and this element is recreated at the top of the tent. Inflatable air columns form the supporting structure, and inflation is powered by an electric air pump. The tent can be set up by one person in a few minutes, which is faster than a traditional yurt. Once deflated, the tent can be stored in a car trunk. Transparent TPU, mesh fabric and cloth form multi-layered doors and windows, and reflective strips are added to the fabric.
Nomadic Inflatable Camping Tent by Yubin Wang has been highlighted as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Nomadic Inflatable Camping Tent received the Silver A' Design Award in Outdoor Gear and Camping Equipment Design in 2025. The A' Camping Gear and Outdoor Equipment Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that recognizes outstanding design of tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, camping stoves, lanterns, Multi-Tools, hiking boots, water filters and more.
