Base
The design of the Base series focuses on the function of a drinking glass, highlighting the contrast between being empty or full. The glasses are made from borosilicate glass. Thin and delicate, but with a solid base with a lot of depth. The series includes three sizes: 200ml, 330ml, and 500ml, and is designed to be stackable. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard, emphasizing sustainability.
Base Drinking Glass by Florian Seidl was identified as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Base Drinking Glass was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design in 2025. The A' Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that recognizes excellent design of pots, pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, baking dishes, graters and more.
