Eclipse
Eclipse is a residential interior design for a private home of about 115 square meters in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. The layout follows a sun and moon concept. Soft warm lighting and flowing curves reduce the visual impact of the structural columns. Engineered wood veneer, faux stone panels, mineral-based coatings and custom metal finishes are combined with hidden doors and fine linear detailing. Public and private zones are arranged for smooth movement. The result is a layered and modern space shaped around family life.
Eclipse Residential Interior by Chen Yu Chiu was recognized as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Eclipse Residential Interior received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
