Stay Gold
Stay Gold is a residential interior design for a home of 110.7 square meters in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The layout holds three bedrooms, two living areas and two bathrooms. Curved partitions in the entryway, along with curved ceilings and wall corners, soften the protruding structural beams and let daylight move through the rooms. Suede-textured mineral paint diffuses the light, while wood and handcrafted rattan add warmth. Flexible plywood is used to form the smooth curves. Integrated storage keeps the shared spaces open, and a neutral palette supports a calm and simple atmosphere.
Stay Gold Residential Interior by Chen Yu Chiu was highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Stay Gold Residential Interior won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
