Dualcon
Dualcon is a mobility device that combines a walker and an electric assisted scooter. The walker supports short distance walking, while the combined mode is intended for longer trips such as shopping or moving around a community. Three positioning points join the two parts: a locking pin, an adjustable clamp and a latch similar to a train coupler. A slide button moves the pedal to complete or release the connection. Many assistive devices suit only one situation, so Dualcon allows users to change modes in a few simple steps.
Dualcon Multi Supply Assistive Devices by Chi En Kuo was recognized as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Dualcon Multi Supply Assistive Devices won the Iron A' Design Award in Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design in 2025. The A' Vehicle, Mobility and Transportation Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award that recognizes excellent design of cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, buses, trains, ships, aircrafts and more.
