Lumin Wave
Lumin Wave is a pendant lamp designed for contemporary interiors. The vertical form is inspired by the visual rhythm of sound waves. A spiral mesh diffuser softens light dispersion and adds spatial depth. Brushed aluminium and wood are combined for visual balance. The wooden body is CNC machined, and the metal details are laser cut. The wave form was developed through parametric modelling. Integrated LED modules give even illumination, and the light colour and brightness can be adjusted. The lamp measures 1800 mm in length and 100 mm in diameter.
Lumin Wave Pendant by Esma Nur Aydın was selected as an outstanding example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Lumin Wave Pendant was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2025. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that celebrates superior design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
