Thank You Bouquet
The Thank You Bouquet is a site specific bamboo art installation composed of 180 handwoven floral forms. The flowers measure between 600 and 1200 millimetres in diameter and are made with traditional Taiwanese bamboo weaving techniques. High tensile bamboo strips are processed, steamed and woven into petals, while a modular framework provides strength and allows transport and reassembly. Visitors walk among the flowers as sunlight filters through the woven forms and casts shifting patterns of shadow. The work honours frontline workers and offers a quiet space for reflection.
Thank You Bouquet Art Installation by Ching Ke Lin was identified as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Thank You Bouquet Art Installation received the Golden A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2026. The A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that recognizes excellent design of sculptures, paintings, installations, photographs, drawings, mixed media works, ceramics, art objects, craftworks and more.
