Tusa Hastane
Tusa Hospital is an interior design project for the complete renewal of an existing hospital in Istanbul. All floors were renovated in line with a new design identity, including the outpatient clinics, operating rooms and patient rooms. Calming pastel tones were combined with natural materials to create a warm atmosphere, while a contemporary architectural language was preserved. The clean and cosy approach aims to help patients feel at home. The renewed interior covers 8000 square meters and was completed in 2025.
Tusa Hastane Hospital by Umut Cem Caglayan has been selected as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Tusa Hastane Hospital received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition that recognizes outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
