Zui San Qiu
Zui San Qiu is a packaging design for baijiu, a traditional Chinese spirit. The surface of the bottle is made from locally sourced gabbro, shaped by skilled artisans, and the natural texture of the stone is left exposed. The bottle has soft organic curves that allow a comfortable grip. The outer box is made from a composite of regenerated leather fibers and natural rubber, which gives a smooth tactile quality. After use, the bottle can be reused as a candlestick, vase or water jug, and the box can serve as a storage container.
Zui San Qiu Baijiu Packaging by Wen Liu has been highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Zui San Qiu Baijiu Packaging was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
