Guojiao 1573
Guojiao 1573 is a limited-edition packaging design for a premium Chinese baijiu. The design draws on the loong, an auspicious figure in Chinese culture. Three-dimensional sculpting presents the loong across both the bottle and the outer packaging, and parts of the figure stay concealed within the forms. The bottle is made with an ancient kiln-fired ceramic technique and is shaped by hand. The package measures 205 by 170 by 295 millimetres. The calm and refined form invites the consumer to explore and open the package.
Guojiao 1573 Baijiu Packaging by Wen Liu was selected as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Guojiao 1573 Baijiu Packaging received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award which recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
