Velaria
Velaria is a two-storey private residence in Penang, Malaysia, with a built-up area of 4800 square feet. Open plan zones link the entertainment lounge, bar and dining area, while the master suite serves as a private retreat. Italian marble, walnut and brass create warmth and elegance. A central bar anchors social gatherings, and views towards the pool support a calm, hotel like atmosphere. Custom millwork, bespoke furniture and integrated lighting systems were used. A floating staircase with motion lighting connects the two levels.
Velaria Luxury Private Residence by Linus Saw was identified as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Velaria Luxury Private Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
