Muhe
Muhe is a residential interior design created for co-living in an older apartment. A former bedroom is opened to connect the kitchen island, dining area, and reading wall, forming a shared axis that supports interaction among the residents and their pet. Sliding partitions let the home shift between privacy and connection, and a sliding television wall adjusts sightlines across the zones. A three-zone bathroom, concealed storage, and clear circulation support daily use. Brushed white oak, soft white tones, and layered lighting create a calm atmosphere.
Muhe Residential Space by Lo Hsiao-Li has been highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Muhe Residential Space was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
