Peace of Mind
Peace of Mind is a residential interior design for a 90 square meter home. Modern minimalism guides the project, with pure geometry and low color saturation. A neutral grayscale palette moves from snow white to dark gray, while light gray walls and white ceilings diffuse light evenly. Matte metal, concrete paint and solid wood veneer add depth and warmth. Clean lines connect the kitchen, living room and multifunctional lounge. Concealed storage within walls and cabinets keeps the space open and uncluttered.
Peace of Mind Interior Design by Chen Chia Yu was selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Peace of Mind Interior Design received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
