A Moment of Joy
A Moment of Joy is a liquor packaging design inspired by the plum blossom, a symbol of resilience and subtlety. The bottle is made of transparent glass, formed by a high-temperature one-piece molding process that creates smooth and continuous curved surfaces. The cap is made of the same material and takes a plum blossom shape that extends the bottle form. The transparent body reveals the liquid inside and refracts light and shadow. The outer box uses eco-friendly paper with subtle embossing. The minimalist form joins Eastern imagery with modern design.
A Moment of Joy Liquor Packaging by Weijun Xu has been highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. A Moment of Joy Liquor Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
