Shaping Memories
GAFA Changgang Admin Bldg Design is an interior renovation of the administration building at the Changgang Campus. The project covers about 3600 square meters of interior space in a building of four floors. The design preserves the iconic arch of the original structure and adds mirrored ceilings in mirror-finished stainless steel, porcelain-white walls, alloy steel elements and cool lighting. Limited ceiling height and poor natural light are addressed through reflection and visual extension. Historical symbols are joined with modern materials.
Shaping Memories Office Space Design by TongXin Cai was recognized as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shaping Memories Office Space Design received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
