Between Realms
Between Realms is the interior design of a four-story house in a city center. The site covers approximately 254 square meters. The first floor holds the living, dining, kitchen and reading areas, while bedrooms and multipurpose rooms occupy the upper levels. A television is suspended on a metal frame with adjustable aluminum louvers, so the floor-to-ceiling window and the Japanese garden behind it remain visible. Grilles, mirrors and cabinets replace solid walls to define zones. Gray-scale stone, matte metal and marble-pattern slabs let daylight and shadow shape the rooms.
Between Realms Residence by SAN.O INTERIOR DESIGN was highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Between Realms Residence earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award which celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
