Hong Jiu
Hong Jiu is a gift package for baijiu, a strong Chinese liquor. The bottle takes the form of a traditional Chinese arched bridge and is made of high borosilicate crystal glass, selected for clarity and impact resistance. A gilded metal roof, formed by precision lost wax casting, and cloisonne cloud, crane and flower patterns decorate the top. When the lid is opened, the interior unfolds like a landscape painting behind the bottle. The tray also serves as a display stand, so the bottle can be kept as a desktop ornament.
Hong Jiu Liquor Package by Cheng Tian Sheng was highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Hong Jiu Liquor Package received the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which honors superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
