Xiyes
Xiyes is a packaging set for a tea gift, inspired by traditional Chinese hospitality. Four patterns appear on the small inner packages, representing humility, warmth, respect and enthusiasm. Each pattern is formed from calligraphic strokes in the logo, rearranged into images that suggest traditional Chinese cultural figures. The packaging is made from renewable cellulose-based materials, selected for durability, pressure resistance and moisture retention. The outer box has a magnetic closure, and individually sealed tea sachets rest on a cellulose tray inside.
Xiyes Tea Gift by Huang Feng has been identified as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Xiyes Tea Gift was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
