Lina
The Lina Buffet was inspired by memories of family gatherings and references to a grandmother's home. Named after the designer's grandmother, it transforms the decorative plate into a functional and symbolic element through solid wood handles split across the doors. Its rounded body and arched legs reference curved forms commonly found in traditional homes, reinforcing a sense of familiarity and heritage. The design balances function, symbolism and nostalgia in a refined piece of furniture.
Lina Buffet by Larissa Sanches was selected as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lina Buffet won the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2026. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards exceptional design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
