Follow Me Sculptural Vase

Follow Me

Follow Me is a sculptural vase designed to support the arrangement of cut flowers. The form is inspired by the peacock, with an upright body and a pair of wings. The vase is made of three pieces, including two detachable wing pieces that are perforated in different patterns. The semi open form allows air circulation around the stems and lets water be added daily without disturbing the arrangement. The user selects one wing piece, anchors it to the body and follows the openings to create a pattern. The intent is to extend the life of cut flowers.

Follow Me Sculptural Vase by Heloise Rajkumari was highlighted as an outstanding illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Follow Me Sculptural Vase was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2015. The A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that celebrates outstanding design of sculptures, paintings, installations, photographs, drawings, mixed media works, ceramics, art objects, craftworks and more.
