Eclips
Eclips is a clip-on lamp designed for curtains and other fabric supports. The lamp attaches to fabric like a clip, so a curtain becomes a source of ambient light. Light is produced by two dimmable RGB LED strips, which work without generating heat. The body is made of brushed aluminium and steel. Intensity, colour and power are set through an application. Several units can be combined on one curtain to create different compositions and light effects, which vary with the shade of the fabric.
Eclips Hanging Lamp by Andrea Cingoli was featured as an exceptional example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Eclips Hanging Lamp was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2018. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
