Theodora
Frida Hulten wanted the wearer to enjoy two quite different looks in one necklace. She considered all parts of the neck and torso, focusing on the back. The result is a necklace that can be worn back to front. Created on a polystyrene torso, the necklace is shaped to fit around the wearer’s neck. It has exact proportions so that the piece always drapes correctly.
Theodora Multifunctional Necklace by Frida Hultén was recognized as an innovative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award. Theodora Multifunctional Necklace was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2018. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which celebrates excellent design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
