Oleg
Oleg is a modular furniture system designed for flexible living spaces. Each Oleg module is a wooden container, cubic or spherical, fitted with several legs. Rotating a module changes its function, so Oleg can serve as a bedside table, a coffee table, a clothes hanger, a storage unit or a sideboard. Modules can be combined and stacked, and the legs interlock to form stronger joints as more weight is added. Each module weighs about seven kilograms and measures 45 centimetres across, which allows easy repositioning.
Oleg Multifunctional Furniture by Andrea Cingoli was identified as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Oleg Multifunctional Furniture received the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2021. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that honors outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
