Stalk
Stalk is a side table made from a single metal plate. The iron plate is three millimetres thick, laser cut with precision, then bent and powder coated. Symmetrical lines and angled folds give the table a minimalist appearance and a stable structure. Stalk is offered in two sizes, measuring 420 by 600 by 420 millimetres and 400 by 600 by 380 millimetres. The side table can be used as a single piece or combined with other units in modular arrangements. The design aims to unite simple form, durability and daily function.
Stalk Side Table by Diogo Pinelli has been featured as an outstanding illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Stalk Side Table was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2020. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that recognizes excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
